Start your summer off right with a beautiful display of dance, music, and theater. Get ready for a fresh take on the classic work by William Shakespeare, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue.

A Fresh Take

Anita Menon, a dance teacher, choreographer, and recipient of a grant award from the Regional Arts and Cultural Coucil (RACC) of Oregon is bringing this one-of-a-kind production to Bellevue. Menon has been known for experimentation and innovation within contemporary choreographic works, and it has fueled her vision for this production. Inspired by a wide variety of dance styles, including Bollywood, Kathak, native folk dances, ballet, modern hip hop, and jazz, this is sure to be a stunning production. The title of this presentation is “A Midsummer Night’s Dream – through dance, music, and theater.” It combines a diverse cast of actors, musicians, and dancers hailing from Seattle and Portland and includes a range of musical styles such as Pop, Bollywood, Classical, and Folk.
