Food and Beverage Service
Meydenbauer Center provides a number of food and beverage services including catering, party planning, concession sales, espresso cart service and exhibitor booth catering.
Catering
Meydenbauer Center provides full service banquet catering for breakfast, lunch, dinner, appetizers and snacks.
Party Planning Services
Meydenbauer Center is prepared to assist you with all your party planning requirements. Our creative staff is ready to assist you in planning and arranging theme parties, floral arrangements, entertainment, decorating, and other services. Meydenbauer Center can contract these outside services and include the charge for these services on your final invoice, a service charge will apply. It is important to remember that all decorations, props, lighting and staging must comply with local fire codes and Meydenbauer Center rules that protect the safety of your guest and the care of our facility.
Concession Sales
Meydenbauer Center is proud to offer concessions services that meet the needs of each event. We make every attempt to develop a concessions menu and price structure that is appropriate for your event attendees. Meydenbauer Center operates concession services for two primary purposes: to provide a quality service to your attendees and to generate revenue for the facility.
To meet those objectives Meydenbauer Center has developed the following guidelines for opening concession services:
- Event attendance shall exceed 500 attendees per meal period (i.e. breakfast, lunch or dinner).
- No hosted (cash sales) catering services shall be provided during concession service hours of operation.
- Anticipated revenues will meet or exceed $150 per hour per stand.
Meydenbauer Center will determine concession hours of operation, number of stands, and menu selection. If you wish to extend the hours of operation or the number of stands beyond Meydenbauer Center recommendations minimum sales guarantees of $150 per hour per stand will apply.
Meydenbauer Center makes every effort to provide the appropriate quantities of concession menu items but because of the variable nature of concession sales there is no guarantee on the availability of every concession menu item.
Espresso Cart Service
Meydenbauer Center proudly brews Starbucks espresso and coffee at all Espresso Services.
Non-hosted Espresso Cart services may be available depending on the size and duration of your event. Meydenbauer Center determines espresso cart hours of operation, number of carts, and menu selection. If you wish to extend the hours of operation or the number of carts beyond Meydenbauer Center recommendations minimum sales guarantees of $150 an hour per stand will apply.
Hosted Espresso Cart service is available at a rate of $500 per cart for 3 hours, each additional hour is $150 per cart. There is a two-hour minimum for this service. This is often used as sponsorship opportunity for an exhibitor or business that is supporting your event.
Exhibitor Booth Catering
Meydenbauer Center provides exhibitor booth catering services. Order forms are available to be included in your exhibitor service kits. Please ask your Guest Services Manager for an order form.
In addition to the catering services offered for your exhibitors we also offer a variety of food and beverage services to help exhibitors attract attendees to their booth. Some of the more popular services are Popcorn Machines, Northwest Microbrew Beer or Gourmet Rootbeer on Tap, Fresh Baked Cookies, Antipasto Cheese and Vegetable Platter.
